Barrier or free-flow gantry: your phone tells you the amount the moment you drive through. Your eyes stay on the road.
You launch it, you drive, it keeps you informed.
With CarPlay, tracking can even start on its own.
On the A13, A14 and A79, around Milan, at Dartford, on Dublin's M50 or in Portugal, gantries have replaced the barriers: this is free-flow tolling. Without a toll tag, how do you know whether you owe a toll, how much, and by when? Péage Notif tells you as you drive through.
You drive under the gantry without stopping. With a toll tag, the toll is charged automatically.
Without a tag, you pay the toll online afterwards: 72 hours in France, a deadline that varies by country.
In France, the payment notice adds €10 if you settle it within 15 days, €90 after that. With no reply within two months, the fine rises to €375.
The amount appears and is read out loud, with the deadline to pay: Toll Dozulé, 4 euros 20. Pay online within 72 hours.

At the end of the trip, the app announces the amount and the deadline. The summary opens the operator's official website in one tap, with the steps to follow.

One reminder the next day, another shortly before the deadline, always between 9 am and 9 pm. Tap “I've paid” and the app stops mentioning it.

The app offers you the event already filled in, with an alert: one tap to save it. It sits among your other appointments, in the calendar you already use (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar…), with the link to the payment website. It does not need access to your calendar.

Once the deadline has passed, the operator adds a surcharge. In Norway and Sweden there is nothing to do: the bill arrives on its own, and the app says so in the summary. Deadlines taken from the operators' official websites.
The toll is charged automatically. Say so once in the settings and the app no longer mentions payment.
Péage Notif will never ask you to pay and never sends text messages. Payment is made only on the operator's official website, the one the app shows you.
The price appears large, at the exact moment you go through, with the journey and the network concerned.
A Live Activity follows the total as it climbs toll after toll, on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on CarPlay.
Car, camper van, lorry or motorbike: set your class once and the app announces the price that applies to you. The official prices are inside the app, so it works even without signal.
Motorways, tunnels, bridges and free-flow gantries in 18 countries: every dot on the map is a toll that Péage Notif recognises as you pass. Everything is built into the app, so nothing downloads while you drive.
Tolls and vignettes, country by country
When you enter Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova or Belarus, the app reminds you that the vignette is compulsory and where to buy it.
Swiss francs, pounds sterling, kroner and kronor, dirhams, dinars or Canadian dollars: the amount is shown in the local currency, with its euro equivalent whenever the European Central Bank publishes the exchange rate.
The app speaks thirteen languages and keeps yours on both sides of every border. Toll plaza names stay as they appear on the signs.
The same app, the same toll database, the same price as you pass. Available on Google Play.
Tolls in 18 countries, the voice announcement, the trip total and the end-of-trip summary. In thirteen languages.
As soon as your phone connects to the car over Bluetooth, Péage Notif offers to start tracking. One tap and you're off.
The price is announced through the car's sound system, over your music or GPS. Still no account, no ads and offline.
Every report sent from the road is replayed against the official price lists. In the latest versions, among other things:
When you pass a toll, the voice announcement is no longer drowned out by the notification sound. If the voice is turned off, the sound comes back: never a silent toll.
The app speaks thirteen languages, and the summary shows the date of the prices for each country you drive through.
Barriers approached slowly, large toll plazas and neighbouring stations are recognised better, and the right price shows in both directions.
The same screens as on the App Store: the price front and centre, everything else in the caption.
The Péage Notif model comes down to two words: no account, offline.

On iPhone, from the App Store, and on Android, from Google Play. It is the same app on both: the price of every toll announced out loud as you pass, the deadline, reminder and calendar entry for free-flow tolls, and the end-of-trip summary.
Yes, entirely free and with no subscription. No account is required.
They are estimates calculated from the official price lists (class 1 by default, adjustable in settings). They are not binding: only the amount charged by your toll-badge operator or the motorway company is authoritative.
As you drive through, Péage Notif reads it out and shows it, for your vehicle class. Before you set off, the app's “Trip price” button gives the fare between two toll stations, and this site lists the prices at every toll station.
No. Péage Notif is independent of every operator and collects no tolls. It tells you the estimated price as you pass. On free-flow motorways (A13, A14, A79…), without a toll tag, you pay online afterwards: the app reminds you of the amount and the deadline.
GPS only runs during tracking you have started. At rest the app uses nothing, and when you are stopped it slows the GPS down. If you forget to stop tracking when you arrive, it asks whether the trip is over.
During the trip, tap the report button and say what is wrong. Afterwards, go to Settings › Report a problem, or write to support@peagenotif.fr. These reports go straight into correcting the toll database.
In 18 countries: France and Italy across all their toll motorways, thirteen other European countries, Morocco, Tunisia and Canada (Ontario and Quebec). The coverage map shows every toll it recognises.
With no barrier, nothing stops you as you drive through. Péage Notif announces each gantry you pass with its amount and the deadline, then lists it in the end-of-trip summary, with how to pay. With a toll tag, there is nothing to do: the toll is charged automatically.
With a toll tag, there is nothing to do: the crossing is charged automatically. Without one, you pay online on the operator's official website, using your number plate: sanef.com for the A13, the A14 and exit 36 of the A4, paiement.aliae.com for the A79, within 72 hours. Péage Notif announces the amount as you pass the gantry, reminds you of the deadline and opens the right website in one tap. The price of every gantry is in our guide to paying French tolls online.
In France, after 72 hours a payment notice arrives by post: the toll plus €10 if you settle it within 15 days, plus €90 after that. With no payment or appeal within two months, the increased fixed fine is €375. It is all explained in our guide to fines and scam texts.
No. Péage Notif will never ask you to pay and sends neither texts nor emails. Fraudulent texts of this kind are circulating: do not tap their link. A free-flow toll is paid only on the operator's official website, for example sanef.com for the A13 and A14.
