Switzerland: tolls, prices and how to pay
At every toll you pass, Péage Notif shows the price and reads it out loud, with no account and offline. Here are the essentials before you set off.
The essentials
- Tolls recognised by the app in this country: 2
- Toll barriers: you pay on the spot, as you go through.
- A vignette is compulsory on motorways: buy it on e-vignette.ch before you use them.
- It also applies to motorbikes.
- Currency: Swiss Franc (CHF). In brackets, the euro equivalent at the European Central Bank rate of 8 October 2026.
- Official prices from the operators, checked regularly. They are estimates: only the amount you are charged is authoritative.
