Péage NotifHungary: compulsory vignette
In this country, cars pay to use the roads with a vignette bought in advance. Péage Notif reminds you out loud as you cross the border, with the official website where you can buy it.
The essentials
- A vignette is compulsory on motorways: buy it on ematrica.nemzetiutdij.hu before you use them.
- It also applies to motorbikes.
- Currency: Hungarian Forint (HUF). In brackets, the euro equivalent at the European Central Bank rate of 8 October 2026.
